FC Metz coach Laszlo Bölöni was satisfied with the point taken Friday in Marseille (1-1), which “gives morale” to a team which, according to him, can “still hope for results”.
“It’s a good point because it gives us morale. And we had the attitude we needed. If we add a little more quality, with simple things, then we can still hope for results,” said the Metz coach.
“Mathematically, this point is not much. But he can give us a little psychological extra,” also declared the Romanian technician, whose team is 16th in the standings.
“I recognize the superiority of the Marseillais but it is not a surprise to be dominated by OM in Marseille. We had to sort out some things during the break. We came back with a better state of mind and we were rewarded with the equalizer,” explained Bölöni.
