Olympic Games 2024: how to get (still) tickets for the Games in Paris?

The third phase of the sale of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games began on July 5 (in particular for regional sites for football and sailing, in particular). This is the first sales phase open to everyone, without a draw. Then, in the ticketing calendar, will follow the opening of the sale for Paralympic Games tickets (3.4 million), on October 9, then, an official resale platform will be available in spring 2024 and accessible from the ticketing site.

At one of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the organizing committee announced one billion euros in revenue for 6.8 million tickets sold (out of the 10 million). And aim for 1.4 billion euros in total revenue.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister of Sports, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, questioned on the too high cost of tickets (for 82% of French people, according to an Odoxa poll for Winamax and RTL in March) explained on France Inter on Tuesday: “Tickets at 24 euros, there are some left. There are still tickets at 45 euros for basketball in Lille, for the quarter-finals on handball... There are still accessible places. There is a requirement and an imperative that we all had in this project, that of price accessibility, with this million places at 24 euros. And with half of the tickets at 50 euros and less. To succeed in this, some people who are able to do it must buy very expensive moments that are exceptional, particularly well placed for finals that will be legendary. It is because there is this price range that we can be at the rendezvous of price accessibility (…) There are also a certain number of events which people will be able to attend for free, which will happen on the Seine for the marathon swimming, for the swimming events of the triathlon, the para-triathlon, the road cycling events… not to mention that there will be the possibility of participating, I am thinking of the marathon for all. »
