Ligue 2: Bordeaux, Le Havre, Metz, threesome for the rise... and the title

Le Havre, quiet leader of Ligue 2 since the summer, seems won over by the fear of concluding and lost in the last two matches before moving to Bastia on Friday where the Normans hope to finally put an end to the suspense during the 37th day.

The HAC, which has 71 points and had not been defeated since the second day, saw its lead over Bordeaux melt to two small points after its second and third setbacks of the season, which is without scoring a single goal. In 3rd place, Metz remains in ambush, five points from Le Havre and three from Bordeaux. Led by their Georgian pyrotechnician Georges Mikautadze, the Garnets can still finish in all places on the podium.

Whatever the results of its two pursuers, a victory in Bastia would ensure the HAC the rise. To win the title of champion, you have to win and hope that the Girondins, defeated only once in their last 13 outings before going to Annecy (15th and concerned by the maintenance), will not do the same.

Even a draw combined from a distance with a defeat of their opponent is not enough because the goal difference has also faded (26 against 25).

Caution is therefore in order before going to Corsica with the 4th, which has just dynamited Pau (6-2) and will then conclude with a trip to Metz.

Le Havre can nevertheless hope that the trap into which it fell against Annecy in mid-May (1-0) will also close on Bordeaux. The Bordeaux dynamic, whose defense has been undefeated since mid-April, however, seems very solid.

At the bottom of the classification, Nîmes and Niort are already relegated but seven clubs, which are held in four points, are still fighting to avoid the last two folding seats which send in National.

For the moment, Pau (17th, 41 points) and Laval (18th, 40 points) are in the red zone before facing Rodez (13th, 43 points) and Nîmes respectively.

Amiens (12th, 44 points), Valenciennes (14th, 42 points) and Dijon (16th, 41 points) will be opposed to Quevilly-Rouen (11th), Grenoble (8th) and Paris FC (7th), as many clubs which no longer have anything to hope for or fear.
