The young PSG midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, victim on Saturday of a “medium-severity sprain of the right ankle” during his first selection for the French team against Gibraltar (14-0), will not play again in 2023, announced his club on Monday, confirmation of the information from Le Figaro.
Warren Zaire-Emery, who scored his first international goal following his injury, “will remain in treatment until the winter break,” PSG said in a press release.
The Parisian club will notably have to do without its 17-year-old player during the next two decisive Champions League matches against Newcastle and Dortmund.
