Cycling: Evenepoel calls for donations to support victims of the earthquake in Morocco

Winner of three stages of the Vuelta and best climber of an edition finished in 12th place (16'44'' behind the American Sepp Kuss), the Belgian Remco Evenepoel and his wife Oumi, who has Moroccan roots, have launched an appeal for donations for Morocco.

Winner of three stages of the Vuelta and best climber of an edition finished in 12th place (16'44'' behind the American Sepp Kuss), the Belgian Remco Evenepoel and his wife Oumi, who has Moroccan roots, have launched an appeal for donations for Morocco. In a short video on The amount will be donated to the Flanders Red Cross. We are taking the first step by making a basic donation, and hope to raise as much money as possible.

Remco Evenepoel adding: “As a bonus, people who have made a donation will be able to participate in a competition which will allow them to win one of my personalized racing items. These items are an autographed racing helmet, racing shoes and racing gear.”
