Rajon Rondo, historic leader of the Celtics in the 2010s (champion in 2008) was arrested at the wheel of his car in possession of a firearm, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Two years earlier, his ex-partner and the mother of his children filed a complaint against the NBA champion whom she accused of having threatened her with a gun. An agreement was reached between the two parties, thus preventing the former leader of the Lakers (champion in 2020) from going to court.
Having been the subject of a protection order since this case, Rajon Rondo therefore did not have the right to possess a weapon when he was arrested behind the wheel of his car in the town of Jackson after a violation of the Code of the road.
During the search of his vehicle, the police officer also discovered drugs as well as paraphernalia intended for their consumption in the latter. The former big league playmaker will therefore have to appear before a judge.
