The used market has suffered a slight decline in February. The changes of ownership of the cars, which, net of minivolture (temporary transfers on behalf of the dealer in anticipation of resale to the final customer) have registered a decrease of 0.9% at the national level, compared to the same month of 2019. For every 100 new cars in Italy they have been sold 176 second-hand in the month of February, and the same in the first two months of the year. The monthly budget of February, however, shows a clear divergence between the trend of the used in the regions of Northern Italy (down 1.9%) and in those of the Centre (+2,1%) and South and Islands (+2,6%).

You will confirm in February the decline of the ownership of the car to diesel (-6,5% compared to February 2019), registered for the first time in the month of January, which further reduced by about three percentage points of their share of the total (from 51.1% in 2019 to 48,3% in 2020).
