Cars, hybrid and electric vehicles, as the fever grows

The end of the year, time to take stock. With the arrival of the new year, it is proper to make the accounts with the 2019 and a little for everything, even on the front of the car buying hybrid and electric vehicles. According to the GAI, the Association of solidarity purchase that is in charge of purchase in the group of hybrid cars and electric vehicles with a low environmental impact, through the group in 2019 were purchased more than 350 cars, hybrid and electric vehicles (referred to as a + 140% from 2018), which, if added to those acquired from the birth of the association in 2013, and exceed 1,600 units, numbers that confirm that sustainable mobility is growing, more and more, on our national territory.

The data released by the JHA are positive, especially because they show a constant growing trend that will continue throughout the year 2020 and that allows you to not only enter on the territory of vehicles with a low environmental impact, but also provide average savings of up to 30% discount on the list price of a car is hybrid or electric. For example, thanks to GAI, it is possible to buy the most requested models of hybrid cars and electric vehicles, like the Yaris Hybrid, saving over 1000 euro, compared to the best price a single buyer could get alone, even in the case of used and incentives for the public.

Thanks to the activities of the JHA – and the possibility of savings guaranteed to the users – in 2019, more than 340 italians have purchased a hybrid car while only 21 italians have bought an electric car. In the comparison between the first and second type, are the hybrid the most desired by motorists italians in the ratio of about 12:1. The electric, however, while growing by +109,9% (thanks to government incentives, regional and municipal) on an annual basis, they still represent only 0.5% of the total market

But how will it be 2020? According to the estimation made by the JHA, the sales of this type of car could grow at a rate of +50% to reach a market share potential of 8-10%. To continue incentives for the purchase of hybrid cars and electric vehicles, even in 2020, the JHA has planned a full calendar of activities and events throughout Italy, aimed to bring the worldwide motorists with this type of car.

Among the first appointments of the new year there is the possibility to register until the 15th of January to the group for the purchase of a Toyota (the purchases will be carried out from 16 to 31 January); for motorists interested in a Hyundai car, however, the registration deadline is February 15, (the purchases will be carried out from 16 to 29 February 2020). Due to the always greater demand from part of the italians of a hybrid car or electric power, the JHA organizes purchasing groups approximately every two months, thus being able to help an average of more than 350 motorists per year.

Among the other events sponsored by the JHA are the classes of driving the hybrid to make known all the secrets of hybrid cars, or even the so-called “Experience Electric”, the day in which you can touch and get to know better all the electric cars most popular on the market.
