The Mayo Bowl is the first to get things started. It features a North Carolina vs. South Carolina battle. The Music City Bowl then hosts Tennessee vs. Purdue.

Next is the marquee matchup when No. No. 12 Pittsburgh faces off against No. 12 Pittsburgh takes on No.

These are the top Bowl Thursday plays:

Duke's Mayo Bowl -- North Carolina against South Carolina

The spoils go to the victor

The Mayo Bowl's winner coach was to be -- guess what -- bathed in mayonnaise. This is an incentive?

Going deep!

With a brilliant bit of deception, the Gamecocks were first to strike. Dakereon Joyner, a receiver, lined up at quarterback and threw a 69-yard touchdown pass to Jaheim Bell.

Ringing the Bell

Bell scored again from QB Zeb Norland for 66 yard. It was 15-0 after the two-point conversion.

Feeling the moves

In the first quarter, the Gamecocks took an 18-0 lead. After the Heels managed to pull within 18-10 in the first quarter, South Carolina made another huge play. South Carolina led 25-13 at halftime.
