Dallas Mavericks celebrity Luka Doncic was ejected early in the next quarter of Sunday's match against the Cleveland Cavaliers after being known as a Flagrant 2 filthy.
Following a lengthy replay inspection, the officials ruled that Doncic left"an aggressive attack to the groin region" of Cavaliers shield Collin Sexton, justifying the Flagrant 2 judgment. The incident happened when Doncic and Sexton were battling for rebounding place with 10:05 remaining in the first half.
Doncic, who had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists prior to being ejected, reacted to the judgment together with wide eyes, signaling surprise. He laughed as he left the ground.
The Flagrant 2 doesn't rely on Doncic's technical foul total.
It's the next time Doncic was ejected at a five-game period. He has called for two technical fouls at a May 2 reduction to the Sacramento Kings, the next one called with 31 seconds remaining, triggering the ejection.
