The HC Davos has found the successor of Harijs Witolinsch. As expected, the U-20 national team coach and assistant coach of the A-team, Christian Wohlwend will assume the Bündnern. For the Engadine, the work of the HCD is the first Full-Time Job as a head coach in the National League. In 2015/16, he was pitched in Lugano after the dismissal of Patrick Fischer briefly on an interim basis, before then, Doug Shedden took over.
On the gang of their national team, the 42-Year-old for the last time will be at the A-world Championships in Slovakia. In the Communiqué of the Association says Wohlwend: "I have appreciated working with the national teams of Swiss Ice Hockey and am grateful for the trust you have given me in the past few years." It is, however, always been his goal, to one day as a head coach at the gang of a National League club: "And with the HC Davos, I feel as graubünden has always been connected."

Wohlwend, who wrote a two-year contract, is a bold but logical choice. He always said openly that it would irritate the task in Davos, extremely. He and Raeto Raffainer, after this season his work as national team Director at the Association of low-and HCD as the new head of sports, will have a successful past. The region's aim to achieve a strategy with a lot of young players, Wohlwend as U-20 head coach and Raffainer with his network are, at least on paper, the perfect Duo in this way.
Wohlwends assistant is also no stranger: I want Walt to Immonen. The Finn was Kloten 10 years as an assistant when you EV train, and last season in the EHC. In the 2016/17 season he was assistant Coach of the Finnish national team. (kk/red)
