I drove one of the best races in my career and being number 16. So disappointing. I feel that I pushed the car to the maximum from start to finish.

Suddenly I was in a fiver behind the safetycaren as in the good old days. I was a bit skeptical about the reboot to the old and cold tyres, but I overtook almost Leclerc, so the grip was good. I was surprised how well I held fast.

- On the long sides it is difficult, but in the slipstream and the DRS’a running it could manage to hang on, says the frenchman.

Kevin Magnussen only got formationsomgangen and the first place, but looking forward to next weekend with a good feeling.

- I would like to have had the rounds today to learn about the car. But not only that; I think we had the chance for points. Frustrating, but we try to do it better the next week, he says.
