It was the story, most of the Danish media reached around Monday before the FC Copenhagen Europa League quarter-final victory against Manchester United.
To captain Carlos Zeca not only keeps with the English large groups. He also hopes to come to Old Trafford one day to watch the football.
along the Way, in the 120 tense minutes in Cologne there was now no doubt who the Greek kept up with, but then he still got hold of Ole Gunnar Solskjær, United's manager, for an informal talk, which was caught by the cameras.
On the way out of the pitch went Zeca together with Solskjær and Bruno Fernandes, after the two players had småsnakket on the runway centre - and had the following cheerful exchange:
Zeca: - Hey, thank you for everything you have done for Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar: - Oh, we're trying to come back, we try. He helps, the here jack helps, he said, and clapped Fernandes on the back, while portugiseren smiled.
- He is a slightly mad when I pill him out, it came from Solskjær, prompting Fernandes to laugh.
Zeca: - even Though I was a tad angry, to not get him anything before, he said with a smile and added, that he pity also is Sporting fan.
Zeca reached just to add, that he shame also keeps with the Sporting – Fernandes’ former club.
Fernandes said nothing. He smiled the most. Probably just tired and relieved that the United to his scoring just squeezed past the Danish team - in the semi-final.
Their ways parted afterwards, but there is probably no doubt that Zeca is sitting ready in front of the television, when United meets the winner of the showdown between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla on Tuesday night.
