She is the planet's most well-trained woman?

She has been with in the film 'Fittest on earth: A Decade of Fitness'. And with 1.4 million followers on Instagram icelandic Sara Sigmundsdottir one of crossfit-the sport's absolute world stars.

Recently, the 26-year-old woman last week won the Crossfit Open, which acts as a kind of qualification for the Crossfit Games, the sport's WORLD cup.

- To win The Open is of course something I'm very happy, says Sigmundsdottir to CNN.

Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth -Mike Tyson . I was faced with quite the challenge this week. There had been some pain in my shoulderblade ever since the Games. In recent weeks the pain started to grow and I thought it was just because I had been on a break and now the intensity in training had been increased. Then last week something happened during a training session. In didnt think it could possibly be serious but as the days went the pain just got worse and in the beginning of this weak it had simply become unbearable. . The plan was to go from Australia to Abu Dhabi and train there until the @dxbfitnesschamp but I decided to go to Iceland and see my doctor and physio to get this properly checked out. . A couple of X-rays and MRI scans later it was determined that my first rib is broken. The pain was so unberable because the tight muscles that are protecting the rib were hitting a bundle of nerves with all the swelling around the break and that made it so that for a few days it was even hard for me to breathe. This is just a wall that I need to climb over and I have already started it because today I am already feeling so much better, I could even pull my pants up and put my socks on. Unfortunately this changes my plans, In wont be competing in Dubai and it will take the next 6-8 weeks for me to fully recover, . . I am so thankful for all the support that Ive gotten and Ill be back stronger than ever = @0nlyfitgirls . . #Nike #NikeTraining #FitAid #RogueFitness #CompexUSA

the WORLD cup is missing the two still to win, although she has been among the favorites since his debut in 2015. Especially last year, it was a shame to miss the gold, though something of the prelude smoke with a broken rib.

I had never been in as good shape as here. I have never been so fit and and been so easy. I felt great and that I peakede at the right time, said Sigmundsdottir.

But during warm-up to one of the exercises on the first day broke she a new rib.

- I tried to hide it for my coach, for I knew that he would pull me out if he knew it.

- But if I had broken a rib, so it would do no more evil. It was just a broken bone, and I could live with, say, the icelandic superwoman.

She carried the nine exercises before the pain became too great, and the coach could see that something was wrong and threw in the towel.

the Two ended up, therefore, as the number 37 after being the number three, three and four between 2015 and 2017. But in the year it shall be, and the victory of the Crossfit Open was a good sign before the WORLD championships, which run from 29. July to 4. august in the UNITED states.

Julie Hougård Nielsen and Frederik Aegidius is the Danish champions in the discipline. They were respectively the number 39 and number 18 at the Crossfit Open.
