After nearly two months of exposure see it now finally appears that the criminal proceedings against the former footballer Nicki Bille is ready to roll in the Copenhagen city Court.

It tells his lawyer Asser Gregersen, to Ekstra Bladet.

- Meet Nicki Bille up in court?

- Yes, I expect.

- How has Nicki it?

- Better than he had it for two months ago. Clearly better, says the defence lawyer.

- What caused it?

- I think that it is due to any treatment. Both medical and psychological care.

Shortly after christmas was Nicki Bille shot in the arm with a shotgun, which was one of the reasons why he did not appear in court as scheduled back in the beginning of march.

- They have been working on him since december, and it looks damn nice. I must say, and it seems that it is moving forward, believes lawyer Asser Gregersen.

- What do you expect you otherwise of the trial?

- In many ways it is a standard hovedforhandling in a standard criminal case. Of course, there is a little X-Factor, since there are a half a hundred journalists.

Nicki Bille is accused of having threatened a person with a gun in Copenhagen 22. October last year, as well as to carry the gun recklessly and be in possession of 0.26 grams of cocaine.

In another case from december of last year he is accused of having beaten a doorman with the fist one or two times.

Recently, it came to light he also is accused of threatening a nurse at the national hospital in connection with treatment, after he was shot shortly after christmas in his apartment in the south Harbour.

Through the entire process, it has Nicki Bille denied himself guilty of all charge points. His lawyer, however, will wait to reveal whether Nicki Bille still refuses guilty until the trial starts on Thursday at 10.30.
