Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, Johannes Thingnes Bø, Tiril Eckhoff, and Marte Olsbu Røiseland took third place in the mixed relay in biathlon on Sunday.

France won verdenscuprennet in Soldier Hallow in Salt Lake City in front of Germany, which was 13,5 seconds behind. Norway crossed the finish line 1 minute and 2.2 seconds behind the winner.

- I'm very relieved. It did very well, said Johannes Thingnes Bø to NRK after the race.

Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen was the first out of the relay in Utah in the united STATES Sunday. Sjåstad Christiansen missed twice, but hit with ekstraskuddene and converted to Johannes Thingnes Bø 17,9 seconds behind leading Germany.

Thingnes Bø shot flawlessly and took the lead in Soldier Hallow. He converted to Tiril Eckhoff, 26,1 seconds ahead of France.

During the third stage fired Eckhoff to a strafferunde and alternated with Marte Olsbu Røiseland 17,8 seconds behind leading Germany.

Also Olsbu Røiseland picked up a strafferunde on the last leg and managed thus never to go into the lead to the teams in front.
