A fire in a furniture factory at the Vesterballe in Fredericia have scored Sydøstjyllands Police to come up with a sirenevarsel over the area, which is located south of the highway E20 in the town of Fredericia.

Sirenevarslet also covers parts of Middelfart on Fyn, as the smoke from the fire draws in over the city.

Close to the burning furniture factory is a residential area, as the police started to evakurere.

- There is a large residential area down there, where there also live people with disabilities, which must be evacuated, says Jørn Lindhardt.
