Kronwall cut Lee with the controversial tackle

Niklas Kronwall scored his first goal of the season against the New York Islanders.

But the man of the match buzz was a different situation as Detroitbacken was involved in.

Anders Lee was lying on the ice after a disputed goal from the swede.

It was in the first period as New York Islanders forward Anders Lee got a ride-on with full speed in the middle zone. But where did it stop when Niklas Kronwall handed out a tough bang against the american.

Lee had his eyes on the puck when he was struck by the swede and took the head afterwards.

" It's tough to get into from the ”north to south” is to not hit the head at all.
