Hansdotter drove out – Shiffrin wrote the history

The 16 of February next year, is determined the women's world CUP slalom in Åre. As it looked like during the season, it stands between the three rider: Mikaela Shiffrin, united states, Petra Vlhova, Slovakia and Frida Hansdotter.

But the question is if anyone can shake Shiffrin. With the victory in Semmering, she has won ten of the last eleven slalomtävlingar in the world cup.

36 slalomseger and in total she now has 51 victories in the world cup. She was now also the first ever to win 15 gold in the same calendar year, and the american looks unbeatable.

Expectations of Frida Hansdotter was large before the second run. The 33-year-old swede was 53 hundredths behind Shiffrin, but only five behind the runner-up Pera Vlhova.

Hansdotter could not many ports in the second run before the skis cut into the snow and she ran out. It was Hansdotters first uråkning since 2016.

Now it came in rather than to stand between Shiffrin and Vlhova. In the latest storslalomtävlingen managed to Slovak defeat the 23-year-old american, but this time it went as it usually is.

So it has seen in four of the season's five slalomtävlingar.

After Hansdotters uråkning, Anna Swenn Larsson is the best Swedish in the sixth.

Sweden had six racers in the second run, and five took in goal. In addition to Swenn Larsson took Anna Stålnacke down in 14th place, the best result ever for the 26-year-old from Kiruna.

Magdalena Fjällström was 16:e, Emelie Wikström 19:e and Sara Hector came 22nd
