"Everyone may now officially know. I'm no longer in the competition act. I myself was there for a while, but now I officially hear, it doesn't seem real. I have exciting plans for my future and I look forward to share with you," writes Osmond in a tweet.
The Canadian crowned last year to world champion in Milan after 2017 all silver had won. At the winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, she won gold in the team competition and bronze in the individual competition. Four years earlier, in 2014 in Sochi, she was with the Canadian team second.
This season showed Osmond, who in her career a lot of injuries experienced, the world CHAMPIONSHIPS and the Grand Prix Series.
I guess it's officially out there for everyone to know. I am no longer going to be competing. I've personally known this for a while, but to hear it officially announced, it doesn't sound real. I am excited about future plans that I have, and I can't wait to share them with you!
