Bert Robertsson had not renewed the contract with Skellefteå AIK and left the club after eight seasons and two national CHAMPIONSHIPS. Now he moves south to Linköping and has signed a three-year contract.
" For me, who have watched from the outside, so is the LHC a club with good conditions. It is a hungry club and a city with fans who yearn for success and I feel like I step into a great situation. There are already a good team around team with the other coaches and a juniorsida who have very high skills, " says Bert Robertsson, in a press release.
Linköping general manager Niklas Persson is satisfied with that Robertson will be in the tränarbåset next season.
" It feels great to tell you this news. We are doing a restart of the association and I feel that Bert's leadership and vision on the hockey go hand-in-hand with the way I look at it. We get a leader who is very dedicated and passionate in his leadership, he is clear in what he wants to do and it feels like absolutely the right way for us to go, " says Niklas Persson.
