In Germany they call it 'Geisterspiele' - spøgelseskampe.
Football without spectators is like a concert without music, and it will be in the coming months the new normal in the premier League.
the Question is, what is the significance of the results?
football is a game where the audience can affect what happens on the pitch, and the famous 12. man is not just a cliché.
In the League picks the teams as in the rest of the world of football more points on home soil than on foreign grass.
In this season have been settled, 23. rounds with spectators and one without, and for the vast majority of teams are concerned, there have been a clear difference in playing home and away.
Oprykkeren Lyngby have, on average, scored 2,08 points at home, but only 0.55 at stamford bridge. It is a difference of 1.53 points.

Randers FC (1,27 points), and the Danish champions FC Copenhagen (1,24) in this season has been significantly better at home than out.
It is only leading FC Midtjylland and the drain plug Silkeborg, which has a better pointsnit out than at home.

The witnesses, on the clear home advantage, and the science underpinning the numbers.
In 2011, released professor Tobias Jacob Moskowitz and journalist Lewis Jon Wertheim the book Scorecasting.
Here examined the hjemmebanens importance in a number of different sports, and the conclusion was that it was the greatest in football.
One thing is the support from the crowd, something else the so-called judge-bias.
Moskowitz and Wertheims refers among other things to a Spanish study based on 750 matches in La Liga. Here it turned out that in close games where the home team was in front, was the stoppage less than two minutes.
Was the away team however, ahead in a close battle, was the time added on for about four minutes.
there Was talk about battles, where one team was ahead by at least two goals was in injury time the same, regardless of whether it was home or away team, that led.

It is not a uniquely Spanish phenomenon. The trend is the same everywhere in the football-Europe.
Moskowitz and Wertheim has investigated over 15,000 matches, and in addition to the favorable extra stoppage time gets the home team, they fewer red and yellow cards - also, when there is taken into account the number of penalties and free kicks.
They conclude in the Scorecast, that the more people there are in the stadium, the larger the bias is there.
It hangs together well with a Swedish study which concludes that judges have a home-bias, when there are spectators present. They attribute it to social pressure.
the League has already settled a round with tilskuerløse matches. Who managed only two out of seven home team, they win.
And how was it so with the first round of the German spøgelseskampe? Just Dortmund managed to win at home, while there was a whole five away team, who picked up three points.
--------- SPLIT ELEMENT ---------'No disadvantage for us,'
Horsens, denmark-manager Bo Henriksen could cheer over three points after the tilskuerløse match against FCK in the Park. Photo: Jens Dresling
FC Copenhagen has just lost a home game this season - the tilskuerløse against Horsens 8. march immediately before the coronakrisen put an end to the premier League.
Østjyderne won 1-0 in nationalarenaen, where the copenhageners in this season otherwise several times has turned a threatened defeat into victory.
- It is no doubt that it was not a drawback for us, was that there were no spectators, says Denmark manager Bo Henriksen and continues:
- It is not rocket science, to the clubs, which usually have the most spectators in the back, gets the biggest disadvantage now. It says all the stats also.

In Horsens, denmark, was up for the fight spent some time talking about what the lack of spectators would be able to get of importance for the two teams.
Bo Henriksen made much out of his players had to be verbal and to spread lots of positive energy to each other.
- The lack of spectators can not avoid to have an impact. It could also see, and we were aware of.
- that said, I also believe that we could have won with the spectators, " says Bo Henriksen and regard to last season's showdown in the Park, Horsens, denmark surprisingly won 2-1.
He did not think that the lack of spectators is going to get the crucial impact on how the season ends.
Clubs in the top-6 are also the ones with the most spectators, and they will lose pretty much equally. For those of us who do not have so many spectators, it will mean proportionately less.
- But if we had started the season from scrath entirely without the spectators, it had been a huge advantage for the smaller clubs, " says Bo Henriksen.
Horsens, denmark, has in this season is unique in scandinavia because the lowest tilskuersnit on home (2223), while FC Copenhagen have the highest (14.786).
the FCK's cut includes, however, the tilskuerløse match against Horsens. Cleansed of it, has been cut in the Park this season 16.130.
