Danskerklubben Ajax is back in the battle for the Dutch championship. Sunday won the Ajax namely at home over PSV in Æresdivisionens topbrag.
Despite a player outnumbered, more than a half-time won the team with the 3-1 and came on 65 points. PSV leads the league with 67 points.
Ajax, who had Lasse Schöne as the only dane in the starting line-up, came in front 1-0 on Daniel Schwaabs clumsy own goal after 20 minutes.
After 57 minutes was Ajax, however, reduced to ten players when Noussair Mazraoui got the red card for a lifted high boot in the head on an opponent, and PSV are utilized overtallet promptly, as Luuk De Jong equalized a minute after.
But Ajax answered back and scored the 2-1 after 72 minutes when Dusan Tadic converted a penalty kick to goal. Deep in injury time scored David Neres as to the end result.
the Striker Kasper Dolberg sat on the bench throughout the match, while Rasmus Kristensen was sent into action with ten minutes left. The former FC Midtjylland player was to run the victory for Ajax.
Earlier on Sunday lost to Nicolai Jørgensen and Feyenoord 2-3 away against FC Utrecht, who had David Jensen on goal.
Feyenoord came from 0-2 to 2-2 in the second half, but had to see Timo Letschert scores sejrsmålet in injury time.
Feyenoord is number four with 47 points.
