How to avoid becoming infected.

There are a few, but good advice that you should follow if you want to avoid being infected with salmonella:

1) Remember to wash your hands after you have touched raw meat. This way, you avoid spreading bacteria to the finished food e.g. roast meat, salad, and bread.

2) It is important to keep the raw meat separated from the meat, which is fried. This way, you avoid spreading bacteria from the raw meat to the fried meat.

Salmonellainfektionen can occur if the meat is not fried properly, or if the juice from the pork comes in contact with other foods, which does not require heat treatment during preparation in the kitchen.
