The DNA of the ancient inhabitants of Sardinia has made it possible to reconstruct 6,000 years of history: their relations with the Phoenicians and the Carthaginians up to the meetings with the Romans and the medieval period. The research, published in the journal Nature Communications, carried out between Italy, the United States and Germany, was coordinated by the Francesco Cucca , of the University of Sassari and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (Cnr), and John November , of the university of Chicago.
