The Commission has approved the inclusion of the Spanish wines Abadía Retuerta and Bolandin in the Register of Protected Designations of Origin.

Spain now has two new protected designations of origin (PDO). It is Abadía Retuerta and Bolandía and they have achieved this seal of quality, granted by the European Commission, for the unique characteristics that both denominations achieve.
