Live Updates: Biden weighs on Trump impeachment, States Dems Will Not have the votes to convict

President Joe Biden stated in an interview Monday that it appears Democrats will be not able to convict former President Trump -- once more -- through an impeachment trial.

His remarks are a probable blow for come and Democrats as House Democrats introduced with an article of impeachment to the Senate Monday night.

Republican denunciations of Trump have chilled since the Jan. 6 riot in the Capitol. Rather, Republicans are introducing a tangle of valid arguments against the validity of this trial and questioning if Trump's continued demands to overthrow Joe Biden's election actually amounted to incitement.

Trump will endure trial months after the House voted to impeach him on a single count of"incitement of insurrection."
The trial is supposed to start on Tuesday, Feb. 9, weeks following Trump's last day in office.
