It's early in the morning, just before dawn. The artillery scouts are in Kurakhove to pick up supplies of equipment that have just arrived from Kiev: drones, tablets, portable solar power generators and internet hardware to connect to the Starlink satellite system. Due to the enormous strain on the equipment, it has to be constantly renewed. Everything is loaded into 4x4s, then it's off towards the fiercely contested city of Wuhledar, in south-eastern Ukraine, 60 kilometers from Donetsk.
