Arkansas Senator Boozman highlights record, 'conservative value' and Trump endorsement in his first ad-blitz

Just over three months remain until primary day in Arkansas. GOP Senator John Boozman has launched his first ad blast as he faces many Republican primarychallengers during his campaign for re-election.

"He has been to every county of Arkansas. John Boozman listens to us and has helped thousands of people in every corner. Boozman will fight for your family, job and conservative values. The left threatens our livelihood, guns, and unborn children. John Boozman is a hard worker, not a show horse, as he believes that actions speak louder than words," Boozman's campaign advertisement states.
The spot, which ran from Saturday to Sunday, highlights that Senator Grassley is "endorsed" by President Trump.

The former President, who won Arkansas' deeply red state by 27 points in 2016 White House victory, and nearly 28 points in his 2020 defeat, is still very popular and influential among Republican voters across the country.

Boozman's campaign informs Fox News that the senator has spent over $370,000, which in Arkansas' low media markets is quite a lot. The ad will run for two weeks on broadcast and television, radio and online. According to the campaign, they will continue to be "heavy-and steady" in their ad purchases throughout the state's May 24th primary.

Three other Republicans are challenging the senator: Jake Bequette (former NFL player, U.S. Army veteran), Heath Loftis (pastor) and Jan Morgan (gun range owner who unsuccessfully ran to be governor in 2018).

Fox News reported last Wednesday that a super-PAC supporting Bequette bought nearly $900,000. In TV airtime, the ads were run in support of Bequette for about a month.
Boozman was the first senator elected in 2010, and was easily re-elected in 2016. He had $3.5 million in campaign funds at the beginning of 2016.

Boozman has the support of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former White House press secretary.

Former long-serving Arkansas Governor. Mike Huckabee is the clear frontrunner in this year’s Arkansas governor's race.
