Yang has just gained the interest of GOP large spenders expecting to avoid a progressive from accepting the Big Apple mayoral chair.

Hedgefund billionaire Jeff Yass, that endorsed Republican attempts for Senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, paid $500,000 into the Comeback PAC in service of Yang, initially reported Politico a month.

Yang supposedly appealed to Yass due to his support for charter schools and criticism of all educators' unions during the pandemic.
