Unique judgment in våldtäktsmål linked to trafficking in human beings

Last summer, there was a woman from Romania to Sweden by two men. According to the indictment was the purpose of prostitution and in Sweden sold a woman to 100 men in various apartments rented via Airbnb.

According to the district court, he must have realized that there was a risk that the woman was a victim of trafficking in human beings, and, therefore, she was not involved voluntarily.

Tirud Wallin says she has not yet decided if she will appeal the verdict, because she had claimed that the man would be sentenced for rape.
