The sound of the wind for the first time, caught up in March

the Spacecraft Insight landed on the planet Mars on 26 november and the idea is that the probe will study the movements inside the the planet in order to understand how the earth and other planets in our solar system was created.

the Two sensitive sensors on the probe has caught up with the sound of a wind that blows in march. The sound is according to Nasa, the first from March to which the human ear can hear.

"One thing that we dedicated our mission to is to measure the movements on the March, and, of course, include the movements caused by sound waves," says Bruce Banerdt.

for the wind to be between 5 and 7 meters per second. Which, according to the Swedish meteorological and hydrological institute is classified as a weak wind on the earth.

During a press conference on Friday evening, presented to Nasa, the new curs and astronomer Don Banfield said that the sound reminiscent of sitting out on a windy summer day, reported The Guardian.

Seismometern is currently located on the outside of Insight, but should eventually be set down on the surface of Mars to measure of the planet's seismic vibrations.

the Sound frequency is very low because of the thin atmosphere on mars, which consists almost exclusively of carbon dioxide.
