New IRA takes on journalistmord – apologize

It was last Thursday that the journalist Lyra McKee was shot to death in connection with rioting in Londonderry in northern Ireland.

McKee was shot in the head when she covered the unrest in Londonderry. She later died in the hospital.

The Irish News is now taking the group of the New IRA the blame for the murder and asks at the same time apologize.

”During the attack against the enemy was Lyra McKee tragically killed when she was standing next to the enemy forces. IRA asks sincerely apologize to Lyra McKees partner, family and friends for her death,” the statement said.
