The mozambican government calls for humanitarian assistance to cope with the situation in the country's northern and central parts, where the inhabitants have been ordered to evacuate. Near the 6,000 homes, 18 hospitals, and around 950 classrooms have already been destroyed in what is one of the continent's poorest countries.
