A massive power outage has large parts of Venezuela in darkness sink. On Thursday evening, there were media reports in many Parts of the South American country, there is no light. In the capital, Caracas, there was a traffic chaos. In the middle of the evening rush hour, the Metro is not fell, numerous traffic lights were working. Issues were also at the capital's Simon Bolivar airport. Even hours after the start of the power failure there was no power supply.
Minister of information, Jorge Rodríguez spoke of Sabotage and made enemies of the socialist government of President Nicolás Maduro for the loss of power responsible. "The goal was the Venezuelan people for several days of power cut off," he said. "The success of these Criminals."
In the severe political and economic crisis, suffering in Venezuela, it always comes back to power outages. The authorities regularly speak of Sabotage. Critics accuse the socialist government to invest adequately in the maintenance of the infrastructure.
Maduro, and the self-proclaimed interim President Juan Guaidó has been going on for weeks in a fierce battle. "This by US imperialism announced and led power-war against our people will fail," wrote Maduro on Twitter.
Guaidó, however, Maduro's government made for the loss of power in the crisis-stricken country. "The people know that the light comes on, if the unlawful end takeover," he wrote on Twitter. Guaidó head of state, Maduro's legitimacy, and wants to take over the business of the government.
