Have you ever heard an employer to say: "Yes, your good grades and profesjonsutdanning is highly relevant for the position. I also see on a Resume that you started on a bachelor's degree in economics, but switched to education. Then you are not relevant as candidate for us". No? It has not, we do.End cutting, start to bet the Debate
Students are people, so feilbare, and in today's complex workplace, it is not easy to stake out a road. Many students start on a study, and switch halfway. This is a strength of the Norwegian team. We educate people with expertise in several fields, that are poised for a long-lasting and flexible workforce.
In the government's proposal to the national budget it is proposed to attach conditions to the completion of a whole degree for that one to get into parts of the student loan to scholarship. Today has 40 per cent of the loan have been converted into scholarship by completing the stipulated number of credits, but with the new scheme one will just get converted 25 percent to the scholarship if you do not complete the degree. This affects many students, and goes at the expense of the knowledge of the future workforce demand.Students are given more support than before the Debates
We respond the government's treatment of the students. Why assume that we don't take wise choices for their own future? When students change study, it is not because we are lazy or stupid. It is thoughtful and difficult choices. To believe that the whip makes everyday life easier for the many of us who have had heavy periods, is incorrect. With this design the Government policies as if Norwegian students were robots, without the ability to reason.
It happens that you make the wrong choice, whether you are a student or a politician. In this case the government has chosen the wrong. If they want a knowledge society, they must bet on the students ' ability to make wise choices, not punish them!
