Griffiths hoping for a solution for Yemen

the Talks in war-torn Yemen is moving forward, announces UN envoy in Yemen Martin Griffiths in a statement.

”After constructive discussions with both parties, we are seeing significant progress towards an agreement to implement phase one, relating to the groupings referred to in al-Hudaydahavtalet,” writes Griffiths, adding that further details will be presented for the observation mission the RCC shortly.

Griffiths also expresses the hope that an agreement can pave the way for a broader political solution to finally end the war in Yemen.
