Explosion at school in Hässleholm

the Alarm came as an automatic fire alarm to the emergency services who were first on the site. Smoke was sent down to the basement where the smoke was. But the bet was cancelled when the police stated that the site was not secure.

Just before the clock 15, the police noted that there likely was not any terrorist incident:

”the Police consider the incident as a single isolated event. There is no information on any other event that can be linked together with detonation at the Technical school in Hässleholm. The police consider at this stage that it is not a terrorist incident,” writes the police on its website.

It was at a quarter to nine as the alarm came to the police if ”a very high bang” heard at a secondary school in Hässleholm, with the subsequent smoke production. The school was evacuated and bombskyddet went there.

The young man was arrested in connection to the school. He is believed to be behind the explosion, which initially was investigated as a suspected terrorist incident but denoted now as allmänfarlig destruction. The man was arrested later by the prosecutor's office.

"It has not been some data on injuries associated with the explosion, but a cellar space has received some damage," says Anna Göransson, presstalesperson in the South Region.
