Electricity behind California's deadliest fire

”After a very careful and thorough investigation, Cal Fire determined that the Camp fire was caused by power lines owned and operated by Pacific Gas and Electricity,” writes Cal Fire in a news release.

Camp fire started on the morning of the 8 november 2018, near the community Pulga in northern California. When the well was extinguished a few weeks later had the fire, among other things, cost the lives of 85 people and destroyed more than 18,000 buildings.

Pacific Gas and Electricity has long been pointed out as responsible for the Camp fire and the company has filed for bankruptcy protection in the aftermath of the fire.
