Björn af Kleen: President Trump to be rescued by their no-man

the White house is celebrating.

Close associates of the president describes this as his happiest moment of the presidency so far.

Trump has not be guilty of any crime. At least, this is attorney general William Barr's conclusion; Robert Mueller take a position on the question of abuse in a court of law, an obstruction of justice.

But it is hardly the only Trumps own merit that he fared so far.

to thank their employees, especially those who got fired or voluntarily left the government during the more than two years since he took office.

Had these people done anything that Trump asked them if would the president be likely to have been guilty of abuse in a court of law, and thus probably risked impeachment.

Rysslandsrapporten contains several examples of situations where Trump tells their employees to do drastic things, but that they obey him, which in retrospect appear to be crucial for his survival.

called the Trump White house lawyer Don McGahn and asked him to dismiss Robert Mueller. This came a month after Rysslandsutredaren received the assignment, and Trump was shaken up. McGahn did not do what Trump wanted but drove to his office in the White house and began to pack up their belongings; McGahn ended rather than obeying the Trump. Colleagues persuaded McGahn to remain and Mueller was allowed to continue his investigation.

just over six months later, in January of the following year, received the New York Times learned of Trump's orders to McGahn. After an article on the matter published called the president to McGahn in the Oval office and asked him to refute the data publicly; McGahn refused to lie.

Trump asked McGahn why he told Mueller-the investigation on his orders to dismiss Mueller. The president asked McGahn why he even brought the annotations in the White house (the notes which formed the basis for the McGahns 30-hour long testimony before the Mueller-investigators). Trump said to McGahn that he had many eminent lawyers, ”as Roy Cohn. He did not take notes”.

Roy Cohn was a notorious lawyer who worked for Joseph McCarthy, the senator who was behind the great range of vänstersympatisörer during the 1950s, an all-time low in the u.s. 1900-talshistorien.

the recalls that Trump tried to get the former justice minister Jeff Sessions to go out and criticize Mueller - this despite the fact that the Session declared himself disqualified and transferred responsibility for the investigation of the deputy minister for justice, Rod Rosenstein.

Trump tried to not only affect the Sessions in the interviews and during the kampanjtal. He also sent the message to the Session via their previous kampanjchef Corey Lewandowski. Session folded not, but refused to attack Mueller.

for how Trump works. Of all the ministers Trump had is Sessions probably the most renlärigt conservative with a rock-hard views on immigration. He allowed the implementation of some of Trump's most hard-line campaign promises.

It was during the Sessions era in which the government removed the Daca, the popular program that allowed the children of undocumented immigrants to study and work in the united states and it was during the Session that the border police separated children and parents at the mexican border.

This ideological consensus, with the important parts of the Trumps ushered a major period played to the sewing and finally no role for Trump. He hated the Sessions for his reluctance to defend him against Mueller, and at the end he got fired.

William Barr ways to manage the Mueller report is also telling of the humility that Trump seems to require its employees to be persistent.

Not only has Barr courted Trump in which Mueller himself could not take a final position after nearly two years of investigation. The attorney general's press conference in the morning was transformed into a low-key kampanjmöte for Trump: six or seven times repeated Needles that Trump had not conspired. The ”No collusion” – as Barr said – is Trumps favoritfras but the fact is that Mueller, in his introduction of the report writes that ”collusion” is not a legal concept, but a phrase that Trump made their own. This, of course, knows the pine Needles, yet he repeated it in his summary of the report.

rationalize the president's handling of the Rysslandsutredningen by psykologisera around the press, which Trump claims to have known, because of the pressure from the investigator and nyhetsjournalister.

The servants, the attitude may possibly benefit the William Barr in the short term. But the Mueller report shows that the president is ultimately to the benefit of advisers and ministers who dare to say no.
