Become a part of the Riksnätverket

We want to have a stronger news coverage outside of Stockholm, be quick in place and become better at developing their own news over the whole realm. The goal is to better reflect the whole of Sweden, for our readers, who are increasingly in the whole kingdom.

We are looking for employees in or in the vicinity of Malmö/Lund, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Gothenburg, Borås, Kalmar, Växjö, Norrköping, Linköping, Uppsala, Västerås, Örebro, Karlstad, Eskilstuna, Jönköping, Visby, Sundsvall, Gävle, Falun, Östersund, Luleå, Umeå, Kiruna, sweden.

for resource reasons, we will start with the towns above. It might be possible with the expansion to more locations in the future.

We are looking for someone who has professional experience as a journalist, who have good local knowledge and a well-structured local network. You should be able to write quickly to a big news event, to be able to report live via liveverktyg on dn.see and be able to send Facebook Live via mobile phone. You should be careful and well versed in the evaluation and their own research. Fotoerfarenhet is a plus, but not required.

We also need fotografkontakter at the locations listed above, but for the sake of simplicity, we recommend photographers to take direct contact with our bildchef Pär Björkman, par.bjorkman@dn.se for discussion on cooperation.

It means that you are included in a group of frilansmedarbetare as the DN contact in connection with various news events outside of Stockholm and that you can contact an editor who is responsible for our purchase of news content. DN does not undertake any financial agreement through the network, but it is based on what we will agree to buy-in at every single opportunity. As an employee, you agree not to the exclusivity of working for DN, but we want to have the possibility to get a first opportunity to purchase content at a news event in your area. If we decline an idea from you, you are of course free to go on with it to the other.

Yes, in Riksnätverket, we focus on the news. Cultural content, feature articles, opinionsmaterial etc, we refer to the respective editors at the DN of the discussion.

DN signs, do not agree to any fixed sum, but the economy based on how much the ROTOR will agree to purchase from the respective employees. We have no fixed price list without remuneration is discussed in each case.

There is no fixed agreement on the number of items, but it depends on how much happens of interest for the DN in the field and on the tips the employee.
