On Friday, expect Netflix to release the documentary about the disappearance of the then three-year girl during a vacation in Portugal. This is despite a plea from the girl's parents, who believe that the documentary series may interfere with the investigation.
”the Production company told me that they are doing the documentary and asked us to participate. We did not and still do not see how this program will help us to find Madeleine, in particular, that there is an ongoing police investigation. It can potentially obstruct the investigation”, said the couple McCann in a statement last week.
the Series would have been released in the last year, but was postponed because ”it was not ready to be shown to the public”.
Not much is known about the series ' content, except that it is made in several parts and that each episode cost about ten million.
