Woman Intends 285-mile run in her wedding Gown to raise Consciousness for narcissistic abuse

Vanessa Reiser is going to embark on the conduct of a life .

The 47-year-old clinical therapist in Rockland County, New York, will be running 285 kilometers throughout the country of New York within the duration of 12 times -- but she will not be wearing average athletic clothing .

Rather, Reiser will soon be sporting her wedding gown for a means to boost consciousness for narcissistic domestic abuse, something she's experienced herself. She told Fox News the wedding gown symbolizes how narcissists often use the guarantee of engagement or marriage to control their victims.

"The narcissist employs this as a means to entangle individuals," Reiser told Fox News.

Presently, Reiser -- that has done two Ironmans -- is also coaching for her solo 285-mile run.

To prepare, she has done runs of 30 and 40 miles on a few weekends or four back-to-back times of 20-mile runs on fourteen days.

Even though it's likely to be lengthy, Reiser's conduct are also somewhat therapeutic.

"I am a runner, so I discover it is like my personal treatment," she explained. "A great deal of this is similar to my own recovery.
