Gisele Bündchen buys an equestrian estate in Florida for $9.1 million

The property includes a recently remodeled house with nine bedrooms, soccer and tennis courts, an infinity pool with jacuzzi and fountain, and 10 large horse stables. Bündchen paid 9.1 million dollars (8.49 million euros) for the ranch, according to the record.

The 1,585-square-meter home features a first-floor master suite with its own living room and private bathroom, an open-concept living room with fireplace and floating glass staircase, a gourmet kitchen with Calacatta Italian quartz countertops and a built-in bar. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a Japanese hibachi grill, pizza oven, barbecue and wine refrigerator.

Realtor Chad Bishop said Gisele plans to own horses, chickens and other farm animals, "a true animal-friendly property."

Located near the Everglades, about halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Southwest Ranches is a rural neighborhood of large properties, including quite a few equestrian ranches, which gave rise to the city's name. Horses are almost as common as people in Southwest Ranches, with miles of parks and riding trails.

The city is home to several famous people, including actor Dwayne Johnson, Chicago Bears football stars Devin Hester and Brandon Marshall, and Miami Heat basketball player Udonis Johneal Haslem.

The model has owned several properties with her ex-husband, Tom Brady, in New York, Massachusetts, Montana and Florida, and recently purchased an $11.5 million (€10.7 million) home in Surfside, Florida, right on the bank in front of Brady's house on Indian Creek.
