Venice may now charge an admission fee

Venice can collect entrance fee from tourists. The budget of the Italian government, was adopted on Sunday by the Parliament in Rome. Depending on the season, 2,50 Euro could queue up to 10 euros for the visit to the lagoon city.

Venice has been fighting for years against the tourist rush and tried again and again with different strategies to keep the masses in check.
