The Mexican border city of Tijuana has been in the past year, the most dangerous city in the world. This is a ranking list of a non-governmental organization.
In Tijuana gave it to 2018, a Rate of 138.2 homicides per 100'000 inhabitants, it was stated in a report by the non-profit organization, "citizen Council for security and criminal justice", which was released on Tuesday. The Mexican coastal city of Acapulco had, therefore, 110,5 homicide offences per 100'000 inhabitants in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, to 99.9.
In the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula, which was evidenced in the case of the collection from 2011 to 2014, respectively, in the first place, decreased the number of homicides, according to the report, however, in the past five years, by 75 percent. The Ranking is based on official statistics, press data and statistical forecasts. In it cities are taken into account outside of war zones with more than 300'000 inhabitants.
On the first ten places of the Rankings, five Mexican, three Venezuelan, and two Brazilian cities. Mexico and Brazil are represented with 15 and 14 entries on the list with the 50 most dangerous cities in the most. (chk/sda)
