Phil May have sung for the last time.
lead singer of the rock band The Pretty Things died Friday morning after complications from a hip operation, as he had to review after a cykelstyrt earlier in the week. He was 75 years old. It writes the BBC.

A representative from the library of congress confirms the death of the medium, and on the band's website is Phil May also acclaimed for the great musician, performer and songwriter, he was in the more than 55 years of age, he was in charge of The Pretty Things.
'We will all remember him with love, affection and sorrow. There will not go a day, without he will be in my thoughts and in my heart. He was my friend, my artist, my burden, my blessing, my sjæleven and my hero. I have never met someone like him, and I will never come to it again,' says, among other things.
'We loved Phil, like many of you did. The king is dead. We could not find a second. Goodbye, Phil. We are going to miss you every day, and we remember you with pleasure and smile,' writes the band.

The Pretty Things was founded in 1963 and hit five years later with the album SF Sorrow, which according to Billboard will be recognized as the first rock opera album.
Phil May was from the beginning, and except for two short breaks in the 70s he was in charge of the band to the last.
In 2014 was Phil May, according to The Guardian diagnosed with COPD and emphysema, and he was therefore forced to take a break from touring. The year after the band released the album 'The Sweet Pretty Things (Are in Bed Now, of Course...)', which is their latest album.
In 2018 appeared recently live, where their concert was visited by David Gilmour and Van Morrison.
The Pretty Things will be published later in the year with the album 'Just As Bone, Bright As Blood', which is the band's last, says it on the website. But Phil May be not to experience it.
