First look at the film has got it to boil over for many. Several took to Twitter to express his displeasure over the HBO, and the movie, which they believe is far too early to make.
"Dear HBO - it's a bit irresponsible to drop a katastrofefilm while we are still in the midst of the disaster. Regards the united Kingdom," writes one.
"don't reveal how it ends, every so kind, we need to actually experience it first," writes another.- Fuck off HBO
The award-winning journalist Carole Cadwalladr from the Guardian was one of those who was most critical of the film. She has investigated and dug in Cummings' "Leave"campaign, and compares this with having to make a film about the ongoing investigation of the presidential election in 2016.
"Fuck off, HBO. See for you that we did this for Trump right now. You blends you literally in our legal system."
Dominic Cummings is currently under suspicion of having placed the fake news on Facebook in connection with the 2016 elections.Reminiscent of the "Sherlock"
Cadwalladr and several others have also turned strongly against how the film portrayed Cummings. They believe the trailer skjønnmaler he and the urge to undeserved sympathy.
Yes. Apart from anything else, to a UK audience, there's inevitable overtones of Sherlock. The brilliant free thinker who's proven right— Carole Cadwalladr (@carolecadwalla) 15. December 2018
"Before you look at the republic hbos production of Brexit manipulator and Gove fan Dominic Cummings, read about what he actually thinks about the common people: People are poor because of bad genes, and rich people are rich because they are a superior race," writes one.
Others, including Cadwalladr, compare Cumberbatchs Cummings with his portrayal of the tittelkarakteren in the BBC series "Sherlock". Where he also plays an outcast character, which is nevertheless being hailed as a hero.Benedict Cumberbatch "too ugly" to play Sherlock Holmes
