In the German part of Switzerland were sold in 2018, nearly 15 million books. This is an impressive number, but 3.6 per cent year-on-year. The Swiss booksellers and publishers Association (SBVV) nevertheless, in its current market report of a "stabilization" is due to the fact that the book trade has increased the prices of 2.8 percent.
