Popchok: Helmig and Graham get together

Two of the Danish pop music's biggest names - Hugo Helmig and singer Lukas Forchhammer from the band Lukas Graham - has combined the talents and come together for a new single titled ’Sooner or Later’.

He received an email from singer Luke with the sketch for a new song, which Luke thought would be a good fit for Hugo.

Shortly after met the two in the studio, where they wrote the song finished together and recorded it.

- I was very honoured that Luke took contact to me. I have followed him since I as 13-year-old saw his first concert at Smukfest, and he is one of my big musical idols. It was so wild to be in the studio with him, and we clicked, luckily with the same, says Hugo Helmig.

’Sooner or Later’, facing Hugo back to the guitar-driven pop music, he was known for, when he in 2017 debut with hitsinglen ’Please Don't Lie’.

Luke Graham has not only contributed as a songwriter, but guests also the song's chorus with its well-known vocals.

- This song and not at least the text was a part of my struggle to get on and travel me again. It is to look forward and recognise that we all make mistakes, but the important thing is, what we use the errors to, and how to proceed. I feel finally happy again, and I'm ready to put the negative behind me, " says Hugo Helmig.
